My husband in Awesome!!!

I just need to tell everyone what a great guy I married. Not only is he kind, loving and a great dad, but he spoils me! As most of you know I enjoy scrapbooking which means of course I take lots of pictures. We have an okay digital camera but we've had it for several years and as with most electrical gadgets, technology is moving so quickly that within a few years what was just brand new is no longer the latest and greatest thing. So I have had my eye on a new digital camera for about a year now hoping that the price would come down and dropping hints to my husband that we really need to upgrade our camera since I do use it so often. Soooo....earlier this week he agreed and said that could be my Christmas gift, and did I want it early or to wait for Christmas. I of course said I wanted it now! I mean I live in New England and we are headed into the most beautiful season of the year with the turning of the foliage. So today he worked at home so he could watch Kenzie while I went to the dentist and just before I left he told me to swing by Circuit City on my way home to pick up my new camera. Woo Hooo!!

It is a Canon digital Rebel xti, exactly what I had my eye on. I am so excited though I really haven't had a chance to play around with it too much yet. Hopefully tomorrow!!

Here's a picture of my new toy! Now I have to start hinting around for some new lenses!

Cyndi! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THAT CAMERA!!! It's the one Tracy and I got earlier this year. Ahh, the joys of pressing the shutter button and having it take a picture INSTANTLY as opposed to .5 seconds later... Doesn't sound like much, but it usually means missing a really great smile or funny look. Kids wait for no camera lag time...
Of course, now you're going to want LENSES... A zoom lens, or a telephoto... I'm working on Tracy for a macro lens, myself...
Dom IS awesome. Have your awesome husband talk to my awesome wife, wouldja? I'm in need of an electric steel guitar for slide and blues playing...

YOu will LOVE this camera! I have had mine for a year and I have not used it to the max. The lag time is awesome, no more blurred pics, no more missed expression. LOVE IT.
I got a telephone 75-300 off a camera store on Ebay. IT was the best price I could find and it was NIB. Enjoy capturing the foliage .. this is the time of year I'm homesick most.

Wow...that looks like an awesome camera!! Congratulations on your new electronic gadget! Chuck and I have been looking at cameras but thought we would wait a little bit longer. Dom is a good husband and of course my duce of a brother. He did beat me up A LOT growing up but he's turned into a big Teddy Bear...I think I'll keep him :o)

Cin, I'll be home on Nov.12 but will have to work in Boston thru the 14th. Chuck flies in on the 16th...we're going to take Kenzie on a shopping spree for her B-Day :o) sometime that week. Miss you!
